She’s right, we need more bold and aggressive voices like hers speaking the truth
Just like other Democrats she’s putting all her eggs in the “communication” basket and not keeping the conversation on popular policies. I know she’s a progressive, but I can’t find much on concrete policy positions because her whole schtick is talking smack about other politicians.
OTOH you have Mamdani, who is crushing the opposition by relentlessly focusing on popular policies. That’s the kind of future Democrats need. Listen to what people want and make that the conversation.
I half agree with this. She in particular is a loud and aggressive voice which Dems need more of, but I can’t say I’ve heard her pitches on any policy at all.
AOC and Bernie are better fits for the kind of communicating we really need more of which includes pragmatic solutions to problems that exist.
I strongly agree with this, Mamdani has a much better tactic. I still enjoy Crockett calling out bullshit, but that’s really a great place for her. I don’t want her to lead the group, her attitude is too polarizing at first blush, but she’s very well suited to the offensive position she’s been playing so I hope she keeps that up.

…who? Seriously, never heard of her.
You may remember her from such works as…:
her jab at U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s physical appearance, in which she said Greene had a “bleach-blonde, bad-built, butch body.”
Important to note she was jabbing back after Greene made a shitty comment about her eyelashes, which the chairman found did not violate House rules.
Crockett’s response was basically “oh okay, if that’s the game we’re playing…”
Excellent point; I should not have left that out.
Here’s all(most?) of the context:
https://youtu.be/bSWQa8ZzLQ0Yep. Greene begged for that.
She seems… egotistical.
Like the Republican party?
Appealing to their better selves hasn’t worked. I’m ready to try someone willing to tell them to sit down and shut up because the adults are talking. Besides, if you watch her speak for a bit, it’s clear she has earned that confidence and done her homework.
I prefer AOC, I guess.
AOC is great too, but I think some people are looking for revolution in the party and Jasmine gives off more “ready to flip the table over” energy, which is resonating with a lot of people these days.
It’s not the “ready to flip the table over” energy that bothers me. It’s the ego, which I don’t generally associate with good end results. I suspect we might see Sinema like results if we put her in power. I hope I’m wrong, but that’s why I avoid people with ego.
Yeah, I am glad she loudly protests the stupid shit. But I don’t care for the ego she carries with it. Ego is almost always a bad thing, I can’t think of it having a time it’s been a net positive.
Another Jill Stein?
