Imagine being married to someone who is openly a Nazi and you are like: “it’s not a deal breaker”. And then your neighbors reward you with a political office.

“I am not involved in my husband’s content or political views, and I do not share or support any form of racism, antisemitism, or hate speech,” she wrote, adding: “My values are my own and are grounded in respect, inclusion, and service to the community.”

    LOL

Cool, openly proclaiming yourself to be a nazi isn’t enough to get violently beaten in a public square anymore. Looks like homie over there is actually making a good living at it. Remind me again why I make the effort to be kind to people

If you need to receive something for being kind of people, then you didn’t understand the principle.

You should be nice to people because you don’t want to make a society in which people are ass to each others, and because you know that’s the nice thing to do, not because you expect something in return

Because you are better person than me? Cause I’m a raging bastard and practically the incarnation of the old standoffish Californian stereotype and frankly speaking kind folks are better than my paranoid aggressive ass.

Well usually I’d agree with you. But if someone is dressed up in a KKK outfit or wearing a swastika, I’ll take the chance that I might offend you, and beat them to a fucking pulp

Where the fuck have all these terrible people in the video comments been hiding the past decades? Like, did all of them have these opinions but they never voiced them. How does it happen that they start commenting such bullshit?

They feel safer saying their views out loud - look around at how they’re using fear and uncertainty in the world to grow their suppprt. They are fucking around…

youtube stopped regulating right wing trolls/bots since 2020, i started noticing them appearing around that time on a doctor who video, usually ends up calling the video woke/or referring to biden/hillary or obama.

they have infested in scifi/shows comments for quite a while. or they make some wierd ass correlation as to why the video(the show or movie) is scripted that way as related to immigration, race, or anything that criticises christiniaty or right wingers. like recently a video of the recent sandman series, when Dream is discussing the key to hell after he acquired from lucifer, and the other gods show up on his doorsteps, and dream said" i woudl rather have them as guest than as enemies". One comment said , oh this must be immigration propaganda. they always comment out of context and try to connect the video as to why thier view of right wing/current events is wrong.

Oh, I’ve seen them too! I was wondering why a news story about Concord had a whole bunch of stupid ass right-wing comments blaming “blue-haired people” for the flop, as if nothing else was to blame. It really felt like I had stepped into the Twilight Zone.
