On a more sobering note, it is worrying to see colors going darker again. While my country isn’t perfect, I still feel lucky to be born here instead of a country where things essentially never change due to dictators.

Not just America, this is a massive threat to world health. They betrayed our species.

Storage (tech), bike tires, many consumable parts. Almost all digital goods, too.

Hal0 4 and Below Zero come to mind. Facebook buying beatsaber and ruining it with their filthy little hands, too. It took a huge nosedive in quality.

Those fake astroturf fields and yards people are installing are actually quite toxic. In addition to heating plastic to high temperatures and baking it under powerful UV light each summer, the plastics and rubbers used for them are usually from sources like car tires which are full of PFAS to resist fires, wear, UV, etc. Those leach into surrounding areas whenever it rains.

This literally happened in the 1954 Lavender Scare. Coworkers could report you for being a “security risk” and you’d be fired because they assumed you were a lesbian.

It’s why we have pride parades, to exercise that muscle and stamp out the fear of “otherness” in society.

Pour one out for America and Ukraine, and the Middle East in general. And Taiwan.

Europe and Asia, you guys better get your shit together, we might be out of this one permanently. Or we might have a very long recovery time spanning decades. Such fucking bullshit.
