      Because then they’d have to pay someone overtime to track down and get ahold of people willing to work overtime to cover for the workers who would otherwise belong to the overtime folks who would want to be of assistance and willing to sacrifice time from meaningful vacation with their loved ones.

    The shortage of drivers will persist throughout August, which is why Elron has decided to replace the train service on the Koidula line with a bus starting Wednesday.

    I wonder how much it cost them doing this than to just give the driver a pay raise. Could’ve just give these management board a pay cut and give the driver rise to avoid all these headache altogether, but nope.

    But anyway, this is usually how oppression of blue collar would work out when the government isn’t in cahoots with the corporation. Would totally be funny if the bus driver decided to strike as well.
