Passenger train operator Elron has been forced to replace some of its trains with buses last minute after train drivers, left out of a recent pay raise, refused to work overtime. Rail repairs have made the drivers' workload significantly more intense and longer travel times mean their permitted working hours are reached more quickly.
I wonder how much it cost them doing this than to just give the driver a pay raise. Could’ve just give these management board a pay cut and give the driver rise to avoid all these headache altogether, but nope.
But anyway, this is usually how oppression of blue collar would work out when the government isn’t in cahoots with the corporation. Would totally be funny if the bus driver decided to strike as well.
