The doctor implies humans came after and descended from timelords, but what if far in the future humans that generically modified themseleves to survive a harsh empty planet ( two hearts for whatever reason) they had settled on after thousands/millions of years of humans migrating out in the world, like the doctor loves to mention, found a time vortex on accident or settled there on purpose.

Regenerations solve death, give people extra chances can descend from the concept of reincarnation. No age, gender, or race discrimination since you can die and become any. They lived near a time vortex and that couldve sent the whole dome encased city back millions of years back in time leading to an event where they later create humans. The whole fry is his own grandpa situation.

I think they are both descendants of humans and that they created humans.

I don’t recall him ever saying humans are descended from Timelords, but I only watched from the 9th onward. He did say “I don’t look human. You look Timelord.”

Thats where I assumed he was implying it, since if we look timelord wed have to be related someway, its like a really ancient human trying to rediscover fun, freedom, love, etc. since they just watch and don’t change anything?

Wilder theory with no thought behind it, face of bo creates the timelords, sets up the situation they need to exist, I mean its not like they planned ahesd that much writing the show anythings a possibility lol

The Doctor isn’t a Time Lord but a enigma that was discovered and manipulated. In doing so the original Time Lords became immortalish by taking parts of the Doctor and adding it to themselves

it’s all timey wimey but they made it clear in the last couple series that in the beginning there’s a race of humanoids that discovered a child in a door/portal and they take the child and study and incorporate the childs blood into their own and in doing so they created The Time Lords. But not everyone from Gallifrey is immortal nor are they all Time Lords

      the child is/was the Doctor

and when their physical form is broken and they reform, they aren’t able to remember their past The TARDIS is how the Doctor remembers. It’s now his Ying Yang and might be it’s own singularity with a mind now because of how much the Doctor has put into it

Ah I see, I was confused about what was going on there when I saw it and haven’t reached that in my rewatch yet

i love the Doctor Who, i wish I could watch it all again with a blank memory.

there’s still some storyline that I don’t know but I’ve watched a lot of each Doctor and honestly can say it’s one of the greatest stories of all time for TV . I even collect and read the pulp fiction books. Makes visits to the vintage and junk shops a lot of fun. used book stores are awesome!
