How does Momoa, while playing a Polynesian character, look whiter, figuratively and chromatically, than I have ever seen him look in any other role?

This does sounds like it has potential.

I just wish (hope?) that it doesn’t have that American streaming company superficial, corporate “edginess”. For me, it makes many series feel the same even if the setting/theme/story is radically different.
