Which I obviously disagree with.
Your response is fair and one of the more measured ones I’ve ever read, I commend you for that
I’ll take your last paragraph as the explanation. I do think having a religion, if you actually fully buy into it not just pay lip service to it, is bad.

Yes, on the whole nuclear weapons have made the world more peaceful. Large nations rarely go to war with each-other, something which used to happen relatively frequently.
Of course the world isn’t peaceful, but it would be worse without MAD.
