I have my doubts that Euphoria will continue past this next season. Will Dune Prophecy ever air again (and will it be another 6 ep season)? Will there be other Dune and GOT spinoffs or will this be it?

I didn’t include Last Week Tonight in the list because as much as I enjoy that program, few people are going to sign up to HBO just for that. Same with Bill Maher (can’t believe he’s still on the air).

I hear there’s a Green Lantern show coming. That might attract some subscribers.

I’ve entered the mourning phase for Star Trek and have finally stopped watching. Similar to what happened with Doctor Who. Instead of telling good sci fi stories, it’s morphed into “How whacky can we be?” It’s all singing all dancing puppet show hour now.

It doesn’t help that it’s on the “we fire people to please Trump” network.

The All feed is useless because it’s the same meme or news story posted 100 times each day because everyone thinks they have to start their own sub for memes or news stories.

You might wanna stop drinking out of plastic if you can avoid it. If you’re gonna buy a water bottle, you can buy one made out of stainless steel and it’ll survive the dishwasher. Of course you’ll have to make sure you buy a reputable brand, otherwise It’ll be full of lead.

Lemmy needs a hierarchy similar to Usenet, or a way to tag each c/ with keywords to make it easier for the user or client software to block huge swaths of topics the user is not interested in.

Examples: Memes. Sports. News. Politics. Entertainment. Music.

It would improve signal to noise ratio in the All feed, allowing users to find new content they are interested in, rather than simply 100 dupes of things they are not.
