I don’t think you’re allowed to play black metal with that haircut.

I remember reading reviews of the first handful of folding phones and all the tradeoffs that went with them. I saw a headline (but didn’t read the article) about a recent folding phone being damn near perfect (or at least exceptionally good) just this month. I don’t remember the manufacturer.
Anyway, that’d be an example off the top of my head. The next would be OLED. And before that, reflective coatings on displays (that one was when Jobs was still alive). There are probably others, but I guess I notice display technology a lot more than other hardware advances.

some_guy@lemmy.sdf.orgOPto Technology@lemmy.world•Former Moderator Sues Chaturbate for 'Psychological Trauma'English2·2 days agoNo, it wasn’t clickbait because the article title isn’t clickbait. I just happened to have an opinion on a section that wasn’t in direct support of the title. I can call out a lack of proper attribution to the problem without the thrust of the article being inaccurate or deceptive. I can see why you take umbrage with it, but I think you’re chasing something that isn’t there. I just commented on a farcical take.

some_guy@lemmy.sdf.orgto World News@lemmy.world•City of Helsinki goes a full year without a traffic deathEnglish6·2 days agoEven worse, when the voters ask for something to benefit them, the elected don’t listen. Look at the multiple articles in the last few months about governors and such (each in the South, at least the ones that I saw), overturning legislation voted for by their constituents.

But either way, yeah, they often aren’t the first.
I guess some of my friends are imaginary.
